I think in order to kick off 2012 as the style gurus of our present, we first need to take a look at our most recent past: 2011. It's extremely important to assess what went right and what went wrong with 2011 as a year in fashion, among other things. Over the course of the next few days, I'll be posting some of my favorite moments in 2011 menswear and, yes, some of it will definitely be synonymous with GQ's 2011 Best Menswear Moments. But, we all have our own opinions, right?
Well, I don't have a Tommy Ton on my crew, nor do I even really have a crew yet, but I can tell you that there have certainly been some great moments we should all take a second look at (i.e. reblogging at its finest):
James Marsden rocking the tweed suit for GQ.

I mean, there are just too many things right with this. First of all, the suit is perfect-- a tailor's dream, really. The pattern mixing is superb, too, and entirely understated. The only problem? Well, most of these tweeds cost over $1,000 which we likely can't afford.
Thankfully, shops like J.Crew make tweed a bit more attainable.

J. Crew's Ludlow tweed suit jacket is $428 and the pants are $216. That's at least half of what you could be spending elsewhere. Oh, and it's still pretty good looking.

Your blog looks very promising, will definitely rock a tweed blazer while the chilly weather lasts! Thanks for stopping by mine.
