Mac Miller is more than just an up-and-coming rap star. He's the future's icon. His beats are getting sicker (or "iller," as he might say) by the moment and his new album "Blue Slide Park" is definitely dank. I know everyone always says it's cool to like an artist before they get big, but I have to say that I am so glad Mac's getting big. My only regret is that I couldn't find anyone to go with me to his show in Northampton, Massachusetts a couple months ago and so I sold my ticket. I should have gone alone.
But like I said, Mac Miller is more than that. He's in on the snapback movement and he brings them back to life better than anyone out there. Just check out his beats on "Wear My Hat" and watch the video and you'll know what I mean. Seriously, I love his style. We've got a lot in common, Mac and myself, seeing as we both rock a flannel like no other. Oh, and I'm just as pale and just as Jewish, too.
Watch out world, this kid celebrates his 20th birthday in just two weeks and he's taking over.
